Itinerary

Day 1: Pickup from Hotel and Transfer to Arusha National Park

We will pick you up early in the morning from your accommodation in Arusha and drive to Arusha National park. This park is a home to Buffalo, Elephant, Giraffe, Black, and white Colobus Monkey, Baboon, and many birds including Turraco and flamingos. We

enjoy our picnic lunch then proceed with afternoon game drives before we transfer to our booked accommodation for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 2: Arusha NP to Tarangire National Park

Early morning after warming Breakfast, We check out the accommodation and drive on a fairly tarmacked road 120km to Tarangire National Park. We enjoy a Lunch picnic there in the park and continue with an afternoon game drive, Tarangire National Park is home to Lion, Leopard, Elephant, buffalo, Python, Zebra, Oryx, Impala, and more. Over 450 species of birds have been observed. After our wildlife safari in Tarangire National Park, we head to our overnight stay.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park to Lake Manyara National Park

Early in the morning, we will depart Tarangire National Park for Lake Manyara National Park located at the base of the Great Rift Valley. The park is home to Lion, Hippo, Elephant, Zebra, Buffalo, Giraffe, Baboon, Blue and Vervet monkey, Warthog, and more. About 350 species of birds have been recorded. This small park contains also five distinct vegetation zones. Thus supporting a large variety of birds and animals. The Manyara National park is also famous for its large flocks of flamingos and tree climbing lions. Canoeing has recently been added as one of the activities in the park which can be arranged at an extra cost. This is a great way to see the park from a new perspective. After a remarkable evening on safari in Lake Manyara National Park, we return to our accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park to Serengeti National Park

Early in the morning, we will depart Tarangire National Park for the Great Serengeti National Park with your Picnic Lunch. Enjoy a scenic route to the Southern Serengeti passing along the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. Serengeti is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa; it also features spectacular Wildebeest Migration and is home to all the big predators. You will have the opportunity for an afternoon game drive in the Ndutu area while enjoying a picnic lunch on umbrella acacia trees. We will resume our journey and progress further into the Central Serengeti for a game drive. After a remarkable evening on safari in Serengeti National Park, we return to our accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Full Day Serengeti National Park

The next 6 to 8 hours are set aside for full-day game drives in The Serengeti. The Serengeti harbors an abundance of wildlife such as impala, buffalo, crocodile, and hippo, is more well-known for its great migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. The animals’ trek is determined by the rainfall and varies from year to year. In November and December, the animals move from the northern region, dominated by woodlands and hills, to the grassy plains of the south. During the longer rainy season from April to June, they return to the north. Apart from the migrating herds, we may have the opportunity to see the resident predators, leopards, cheetah, and lions, fulfilling their role in the circle of life.

After an unforgettable day, we will return to our accommodation for relaxation, dinner, and our overnight sleep on The Endless Plain.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater

Day six starts with breakfast at the safari camp, as the sun rises. Then we take a game drive through Serengeti Park on our way out of the national park, stopping to enjoy a picnic lunch en route. Keep your eyes open for wildlife, especially in the early morning hours when animals and birds are more active. After our lunch, we transfer to Ngorongoro Crater Rim to visit the Olduvai Gorge and museum shortly after which we transfer to our booked accommodation at the Ngorongoro Rim for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater – Transfer to Arusha

We rise early and drive to descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor, taking in stunning views of the world’s largest unflooded caldera on the way down. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its huge population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard. We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor.

After a rewarding game drive in this World Heritage Site, we drive out of the crater to transfer back to Arusha late afternoon and arrive in the evening where you will be dropped off at your hotel
